The Skydeck at The Willis Tower

The Willis Tower Skydeck, formerly the Sears Tower, has  a spectacular vista that spans four states on a clear day. Famous Chicago sites, such as Wrigley Field, may be seen from the 103rd story of the Willis Tower. The notorious Ledge, a glass, four-foot balcony on the Skydeck, is open to the brave. It’s 1,343 feet above the ground with a panoramic view of the city.

London House Rooftop Bar

The sightline from London House Rooftop is directly down the Chicago River. It’s one of a kind, taking in the river, the Marina City Towers, and many bridges and the Magnificent Mile. Be sure to try one of London House’s delectable cocktails.

360 CHICAGO at the John Hancock building

The John Hancock Building has two excellent spots to view Chicago. First, on the 94th-floor, is the observation deck, with a 360-degree view of the city and Lake Michigan. Plus, 360 Chicago’s TILT  is an enclosed, moving platform that tilts courageous souls out over Michigan Avenue.

On the 96th floor, is The Signature Lounge that offers a second viewing option. The Lounge is open to the public and has breathtaking views of the Chicago cityscape, Navy Pier, and Lake Michigan.

Chicago Riverwalk

The Chicago Riverwalk is a fantastic way to get a feel for the city, while on a stroll. From Franklin Street to Lake Shore Drive, the Riverwalk runs beside the Chicago River on Wacker Drive. There are several sitting places, bars, restaurants, and sights to enjoy.

If you go at night, you can listen to live music from one of the numerous establishments.

Cindy’s Rooftop

Cindy’s is a restaurant with an open patio on the roof of the Chicago Athletic Association, Cindy’s provides views of Millennium Park, Grant Park, and Lake Michigan from its 13th-floor perch. You may enjoy the views from Cindy’s patio or from the glass atrium. During the cooler months, the terrace has fire pits to keep you warm. While you’re there, try one of Cindy’s handmade cocktails.

Belmont Harbour

Belmont Harbour is one of Chicago’s major ports, located in the heart of Lincoln Park. The Chicago skyline can be seen from Belmont Harbour, which is surrounded by park space. Thanks to the various yacht clubs that call Belmont Harbour their home, it’s also a fantastic spot to see Chicago from the water.

The Art Institute of Chicago

There are two excellent viewing areas at the Art Institute of Chicago. In the Modern Wing, the Bluhm Family Terrace and Terzo Piano are located next to one another. The views of Millennium Park and the Chicago skyline are spectacular from both. The Terrace provides shade while allowing you a clear view of the city and night sky.

Navy Pier

The 50-acre Navy Pier spans 3300 feet and includes parks, gardens, and restaurants, is home to a variety of activities. The pier is one of the greatest sites to see the spectacular Chicago cityscape and Lake Michigan’s natural splendour. Only at the Navy Pier can you ride a Ferris wheel to see the Chicago skyline. Climb on the Centennial Wheel for a breathtaking perspective of the city from 200 feet above the earth.

Maida:

My name is Maida. I was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but I relocated to Chicago in 2002. I picked up my first camera two years ago and haven’t looked back since. I began photographing the city and its businesses while putting my spin on them. My objective is to portray the subject’s beauty and strength through my eyes. When I’m not shooting photographs, I’m either with my beautiful family or working as a Director of Broker Services. I believe that perfection is achievable, and I strive for it in every photograph.
